This diagram is an overview of human communication and its overall relationships. Firstly, messages are sent simultaneously through a variety of mediums from different communicators until they reach the receiver. In context, the communication process that takes place could be either physical or sociological and could be interfered with by noise which can also be physical , psychological as well as semiotic. Overall, the messages transferred back and forth usually have some effect (physical or emotional) on the responder and thus, create meaning.

The Power of Persuasion
The art of Persuasion is the influence one has, acting as guidance towards a certain attitude or idea. This can affect one either rationally or emotionally and can have a positive or negative affect on one’s overall self-esteem and wellbeing.
Intrapersonal Phenomena
When experiencing a past event that could evidently change ones state of mind, this could overall effect ones attitude and emotional opinion on certain matters in the future. This can be due to the cultural evaluations of a person, object, conflict or place that has influenced that thought or action e.g. Liking chocolate ice cream or ones opinion about abortion.
People develop their self-perception based on feedback from others, and the comparison to those around them. By comparing to others, people can learn deeply about not just themselves, but others too, thus improving one’s overall self-esteem and wellbeing. However, social comparisons can be either positive or negative, that is, comparisons to people who are either higher in status or ability, or lower in status or ability can affect one’s own self-esteem.
Behavioural Affects of Socio-Phychology
Human behaviour is a result of the interaction of mental states and immediate social situations. When debating, or in a group discussion or argument involving people with contrasting opinions, whether they are right or wrong, can cause immidiate conflict within the group. This symbolises that peoples thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are influenced by the group of people that one is surrounded with.
What is Socio Phychology?
So what is socio psychology and how does it differ and break down the barriers of Psychology?
Psychology is the scientific study of certain individuals and the functioning of the human mind, in which can affect ones overall behaviour in a given situation or context. This is in contrast to Socio Psychology which is focused around individuals involved in group activity and the social interactions with those around them. Thus, it is through the interaction of others , that effects one’s self. For example, commercials can change our attitudes and opinions , persuading us to a particular product or idea. By studying how people act in certain situations, we can better understand how stereotypes are formed and how a person can seem like an entirely different person in different situations, how people react in terms of conflict and even how people fall in love.
